fan help

fan help

hey fellow drivers i have a 03 g35 with a fan problem.the problem is when i first start the car for the day the fan is off then and i can really feel the power in the car until the fan comes on then the car get really slugish and loud and it doesnt go off until the car sit for a few hours. but what i dont understand is how the fan starts to blow harder and harder please some1 help

where do you live? hotter the car runs the more the fans are needed.

Assuming you have an electric fan correct?

Are you running the A/C? Is the car overheating?

Our cars are very sensitive to temperatures: intake air, engine oil temp, coolant temp, ATF temp. Lots of sensors that will change output base on this. Plus, hotter air is less dense, so less power.

Yep when things get hot the ignition timing is cut back and power drops.
