HELP!!! Iso Thermal Plenum Spacer HELP!!!

Hey everybody.

I installed my iso thermal plenum spacer a few months ago. I just took my upper plenum off (I'm about to polish it). Anyway I noticed that there was a slight oil smell and also my lower plenum is slightly wet with oil and I am not sure but possibly water??? I took off the spacer itsself and noticed that the bottom gasket had moisture on it as well. WHY? I also notice there were very small threads of oil around the bolts that bolt that middle metal thing onto the lower plenum. Should I take off the original plenum gasket, but leave the gasket that is under that oval metal piece that is in the middle of the plenums?

Notes

-I kept my original plenum gasket on there as Motordyne's instructions said it was safe to do so.
-Before bolting on my upper plenum after the spacer installation I may have lined the gasket with oil.

I tried to include pictures, it is dark here though. I need input ASAP.

Is it too cold up in Missouri? It looks like condensation.

Oil in the plenum is from blow-by gas. Do a search on OIL CATCH CAN. This is the reason people have catch cans. Oil can lower combustion, which most people don't want.

Thats all it is.

Not harmful to have it in there.

Looks like oil blow by and vapor to me. That's normal. Get a catch can.
