service rear end?

I been searching and cant find when I need to have the rear end serviced! I just bought the car about 4 weeks ago! I had the oil changed and the trans drained and filled with amsoil trans fluid for j trans! The car is a 04 coupe and has 64,000 on the clock! what milage is it required to be done and whats the best fluid to use to refill it with? Thanks Josh

He meant the differential fluid^^^ and IIRC its recommended at 30K

Please correct me if I am wrong.

Do you have LSD? If not, any 75w90 or around there will work

OK i do have a LSD! They said use any LSD DIFF synthetic fluid? Any brand recommended?

I just did mine today, used Amsoil 75W-90, used 1.5 qts and was a very easy job.

Go with any brand diff fluid with the LSD additive. Brand usually makes no difference. Just make sure it has the LSD additive and its the correct weight.

I was told we did not need any additives....you will need a 10mm hex socket to get the drain/fill plug out.
