No, it wasn't dumb at all. The cheapest price is from innovate. I shopped around for almost a month before i purchased my LM-2 and the best price was through innovate's website. They are more like 400 range, not 300$ range. The thing is, you're waiting to get a datalogger for under 300 it probably won't happen. 400$ is pretty cheap considering you will blow your motor without being able to log the a/f ratio then tune. So basically, you can't tune anything until you have an o2 log. Also, you'll need the optional MAP sensor with that LM-2 so you can log boost, o2, and rpm all at the same time.

Just trying to help save you from a disaster. You'll need a datalogger before you get that car running, trust me.

ive seen used kits for alot less and ive seen lm-2 w/o the obdII plug in for $275 which the plug can be bought sep. for $25 plus my splitsec box has a data logger for boost but i think i might just go with your sug. and get it all in one wraped package so i dnt run into issues with going back and forth with the to programs.

Stupid, dumb or whatever you want to call it.. Why not just let this guy experiment and give some advice? This is way better than someone throwing on ADR rims and ebaying the car out with lame weird accessories

Looks like some fun. Downside of the combo is the drag on the motor at idle. Fuel economy is gonna be low, but who cares!

Tq line of the stillen is fun, tq line of the Vortech not so fun
Hp line of the stillen is not so fun, hp of the Vortech is decently fun

For injectors you should not use the 7th of the stillen or the inline of the Vortech. Get a Walbro 255, and some 550cc injectors to make sure you have fuel for 400. You're in unknown territory on parasitic drag so make sure you have enough injector.

what a sick fx35 in that pick.....ive seen that avatar before...anyways how should are you familiar with both kits..reason i aks is both have there own computer to hook up should i just hook both up i mean one is a tuneable one and the other just seems tho wire up and go from there with the added injector...i have a 255 inline but ive heard that i need an intank to actually keep up. and im not sure if i want to buy injectors yet because i dont want to buy something to small b/c i eventually want around 750whp and plus i was told that i cant just get large sized ones that i need to stay around current hp so i want to make sure i only make one purchase of a set. i mean injectors are gunna run 800+ b/c the damn rail has to be up graded to compensate for the bigger injectors and might as well upgrade the lines while your at it
