I followed the sticky procedure to reset the ECU but i am not sure if it had reset or not..how can you tell?

so i turned key to "on", waited 3 seconds then floored gas pedal 5 times in 5 seconds, waited 7 seconds then floored gas pedal for 10 seconds, and I saw the "check engine soon" was blinking SLOWLY, then i released the pedal and floored it for another 10 seconds, then the "check engine soon" was blinking faster.

does that mean i have reset my ECU already ? or it was a fail ?

no, you didnt reset it.

Once the CEL starts blinking you need let off the gas pedal and wait for at least 10 sec. After 10 sec wait, you press the gas pedal down for 10 more sec. After that you turn key to off. DONE.

Did you follow the procedure correctly and wait the time in between and full 10 sec intervals? If so, it was reset.

???

If your CEL is on, doing the reset will turn it off. If you do it incorrectly the CEL will stay on.

when are you saying that the light is flashing?

so what you're saying is if the ECU is reset the CEL should be off?

my CEL didnt stay on but flashing for 5 seconds then off for 2 seconds then repeat and repeat after i tried to reset the ECU. so it was successful huh?

Yes. CEL will turn off after you reset it. After you turn ignition off and then turn it back on and start the car you should not have a CEL at all.

The OBD port is shown in the next photo & is slightly to the right of the open engine hood latch. You will have to move the driver's seat as far back as possible to access a view of the OBD port

Laying on your back on the driver's floor area you will see the OBD port (white colour) while looking up at the dash board
