This has been happening for months. Randomly, the car won't start.

Never does it when cold (as in sitting over night cold).

1st time I fixed it by unplugging the battery.
2nd time I fixed it by jumping it.
3rd time I fixed it by cranking it over and over and over while holding the gas (was pissed this day).
4th time I fixed it by jumping it.
5th time I fixed it by clearing codes (cat codes: bank 1/2 rich, nothing more).
6th time I fixed it by unplugging the battery.

I thought it was the battery. Bought a brand new one (huge, barely fits, lots of CCA's), worked like a charm for about 3 weeks.

I've checked the alternator, it's working.

Starter should be OK... it'll crank all day long, just won't fire up.

Some days you can stop and start it 10 times and it won't say a peep, other days it will do it the next time you try to start it after leaving the house.

What else could it be? Nothing changes except for the weather, thought it may have something to do with humidity or temp, but it'll happen in 100* days or 85* nights with varying humidity.

UTEC, return fuel system, Walbro 255, RC 750's... I think that's all that will effect it.

The car sits for at least a week at a time, so the battery was always dying, that's why I finally switched it out thinking the old battery had been dead and charged too much (or deep cycled)... like I said, the new battery has worked for awhile, but now the issue is coming back. 3 weeks no issues. The last 3 days it's not started twice.

Yours could possibly be the clutch switch. Maybe mine is similar..... I haven't tried starting in neutral rather then park (5AT here of course).

Have you changed your battery? Mods to car?
