I should be rite up there int he high 240's low 250's by next week when i do my dyno!! My first baseline was 237 hp and 244 torque to the wheels, he gave me the wrong sheet and it was only from 3500k to 5700k rpm's and i got 221 rwhp and 230 torque baseline! Now should be much higher. Baseline was done on 7/26/04 (Performance Motorsports)

I figure THX723 (clint) is probably working on the math to correct our 2600' above sea level and 100 degree temps to more civilized runs... ha ha ha.

Yeah. I'm a little hesitant to come up w. the correction factor. The altitude adjustment alone for 2700' is ~3% and that is a very safe one to use as it is extremely conservative by itself. I'm more incline to think the real correction factor (add those other than altitude alone) is closer to 6%, but that still needs to be substantiated.
At the end, I vote to just use the un-altered 'raw' data as we get them before correction. Things will only get hairier if everyone has to start applying their own versions of the correction factor ... creating more controversies. No biggie if I don't end up in the top 5 list for fastest ET.
Also, I'm still in the validation process w. the G-tech. So far it's looking to be very precise from run to run, I'm trying to address the accuracy issue at this point. I could also use helps from other G-tech users.

No worries
My mods are in my profile. The reported figures are from the rear axle, so crank number is most certainly higher. These numbers were measured using a DynaPack chassis dynamometer, which reads on the average 10hp higher than the typical DynoJet numbers. It would have read closer to to 260rwhp in this case on a DynoJet.
The choice to go with DynaPack dynamometer was mainly because that is what Church Automotive Testing has. The owner/operator is very knowledgeable and experienced in engine tuning and testing. He's the same guy EA's Need For Speed (video game) team used for sound recording of cars, of which my car was one of them
, under simulated road loads while remaining stationary. In addition, he's got a great package going ($$$ wise) for back-to-back testings. Other reason also included closely simulated real world road loads and direct rear axle bolt on for added precision and accuracy.
I made a link in my original post, but here it is again of my last dyno sessions. The baseline figure (in black) is post intake & exhaust mod, which I happened to have also dyno'd on a DynoJet Here on a different occasion. To no surprise, the peak value was ~10hp down from my DynaPack number of the same mod configuration.
Thus far, my car seems to have been responding well to every single mods I've thrown at her. Each time, I've also used drag strip data to further validate the dyno numbers. I started from 15.3 @ 91.x (stock) to 14.722 @ 94.8 (LACR time). I've since added a set of Kinetix Resonated Test Pipes that further improve my numbers to 14.685 @ 95.7, so I will be looking forward to a re-Dyno this Sunday.
Finally, once all my mods are complete (DC headers) ... I will also reDyno with a DynoJet as another validation and to better compare apple-to-apple to others on the forum.
So, I hope that clears things up a bit.

My mods are in my profile. The reported figures are from the rear axle, so crank number is most certainly higher. These numbers were measured using a DynaPack chassis dynamometer, which reads on the average 10hp higher than the typical DynoJet numbers. It would have read closer to to 260rwhp in this case on a DynoJet.The choice to go with DynaPack dynamometer was mainly because that is what Church Automotive Testing has. The owner/operator is very knowledgeable and experienced in engine tuning and testing. He's the same guy EA's Need For Speed (video game) team used for sound recording of cars, of which my car was one of them
, under simulated road loads while remaining stationary. In addition, he's got a great package going ($$$ wise) for back-to-back testings. Other reason also included closely simulated real world road loads and direct rear axle bolt on for added precision and accuracy.I made a link in my original post, but here it is again of my last dyno sessions.
