Installeed Stillen Headers, done with bolt ons

Well it's been a while since I have really done much with my Coupe but I finally ordered and installed my headers. They are the ceramic coated Stillen headers. I have completed all my bolt on performance mods. I have an Injen CAI, Stillen Headers, I took the cats off and put Helix Test Pipes on and I have B&B Exhaust from there on out. The car runs awesome, sounds real nice and is real fast. I am waiting now to just get the money to probably order the Stillen Supercharger and then that may be it on the engine stuff. Does anyone know of what type of air-fuel regulator I should get or that will work for the Coupe. I have noticed already with just just the mod's I have made that when I start it sometimes it takes a split second longer to really get going and when I start it, it initially sometimes sounds like it is goin to stall. I know I need a regulator but I just don't know where to get it or which one to go with.

For what it's worth, I have a "gut feeling" that if you removed the Stillen CAI and replaced it with the stock airbox and stock air filter that your split second hesitation would go away.

Considering that the cost is free, and it would only take an hour or so to do, you might want to try this out for 1 week or so. If there is no positive change you can always reinstall the filter (and while it's off you could clean and reoil it too).

The above statements are only my take on the issue. If you disagree with anything I typed then you are 100% right!

G35 have a returnless fuel system so the fuel pressure is controlled in the fuel pump via ecu signals.

I would invest in a digital A/F gauge... something like AEM makes. it gives you a read out from your oxygen sensor that displays whats your real A/F ratio is since the wideband O2 sensor.

2003 G35C -soon to be moded-
2001 BB6 -moded-

TRACK TIME ... THERE IS NO SUBSTITUTE!
