Check those PCV valves

What exactly does the PCV valve look like? I'm confused at what to look for. Can anybody post a service manual pic or something? To some extent, I think I'm feeling something like the loss of power in part throttle application.

on the passenger side valve cover there is a hose that connects to the lower plenum. the part on the valve cover is the PCV valve.

Yep if you follow the tube from the center-left in this pic, the tube hooked to it goes left to the PCV valve, threaded into the rocker arm cover.

IIRC there is a wire bundle in the way or a coil pack, if you move that stuff it's easier to pull it out.
