I get in the car and drive today and my acceleration is very sluggish like something is holding it back. I have 2 5at 04 g coupes so i know there is something wrong . Also my gas pedal and steering wheel are stiff unlike my other G . I am also throwing engine code P1026 which goes on sometimes . My idle is fine (600rpm) . Another thing is when i just went to start the car my tach didnt work . I turned off the car then turned it back on then it didnt start . I then tried again and it started fine and tach worked .It has not done it since then so im thinking it was just a fluke and not related however i still have really sluggish acceleration , stiff pedal and steering that wont go away . I cleaned the throttle body which was already clean but no help . Reset ECU still the same . Any idea of what it can be ?

Maybe throttle position sensor.

 

Is there a way to test the tps to tell if its bad ?. I just bought a brand new throttle body and maf for 60 bucks .Should be here in a few days but i would still like to test the old one .
