AT CHECK LIGHT! help

called the dealer they couldnt tell me what the light meant....took it in for them to run diagnostics what should i expect? anyone else have the AT Check light come on before? they said this light never comes on and thats why they dont know much about it.....

Low fluid or failed sensor? What were you doing when it went off? Could it have overheated? No data = no answer.

so it cost me $134 to tighten a loose grounding wire :-) they say the loose grounding wire caused a malfunction and made the light go off ohh joy

Actually it cost you that much for Infiniti to spend 30 min or so diagnoising the problem and actually fixing it. Just to run the diagnostics at the dealer is over $100 I believe. Do a few of those and you could buy your own OBDII scanner like the Autoenginuity.

Which ground was it? I believe there is only one on the tranny. But there are like 5-6 thoughout the engine bay

it was the ground inside the battery side bay

Well at least it wasn't a serious problem. Thanks for posting the experience though. I bet you will save alot of other guys money by checking their ground points as a possible cause .
