like the title says..I have an 04 g35 coupe 5AT and I was working on installing my rear-view camera onto my car and sure enough I get in and test out the first time..the car works just fine and goes into car...however camera doesnt come on....then I do some testing and installed the wire into the reverse light wire...car went into gear just fine and still nothing...I have had the Parking Brake on the entire time I am testing this so my car doesnt role...

I spoke with my audio installer and he mentioned that the remote wire/signal wire should run into the Navi Brain as well to tell it to turn on....long story short after I tapped into that wire I start the car and then my ABS Light comes, VDC Comes on, SLIP comes....I un-plug that wire thinking this may have been the issue and now nothing..car just sits in limp mode...yes I am pressing on the brake when im trying to put the car into gear...It seems to me as if the brake itself isnt returning itself either or is really stiff....

Anyone have ideas how to fix this?? I dont what to check..I checked the Brake Fluid and its full...I was thinking maybe I need to bleed the brakes because of air getting into the line maybe..but that doesnt make sense...I just know that whenever you press on the brake multiple times with the car off it builds up pressure but then releases when the car is started..this isnt the case with me right now....

Please help ASAP.

The title says you can't get it out of park, your statement says the car is in limp mode?

If you can't get it out of park then the first thing to check is to see if you have brake lights?

 

yeah I figured everything out at my buddies shop....blew a fuse which caused the brake lights to not function which wouldnt allow the car to go into gear....replaced fused and corrected the problems...

 

Did you get the camera to work?
