ABS Trouble Code C-1109

Anyone have ideas?...

no SES light - but when I ran code check with Cipher, ECU and BCM were clear - but ABS showed C-1109... I cleared it a couple weeks ago, looked again this weekend and its back.

The code is "Speed Control Actuator Assembly Cable Release Failure"

Anyone have insight?

BTW I know ABS is brake related - but in this case topic is more suited for this section.

That code doesn't make any sense. It's related to cruise control. It's basically saying the cruise control actuator is not releasing the cruise cable. We know this isn't possible since our cars are drive-by-wire therefore no throttle or cruise cables are attached to the throttle body. All I can think is that since you've got different gears, it's causing the ABS speed sensors and cruise control to be at odds therefore throwing this weird code.

I have this occasionally when I run cipher. I just clear it, but like u said no ses light. Could it possibly have to do with the osiris' map switching ability via cruise control inputs?

no abs light... you might be on the right track... I spoke wit a friend yesterday about the idea that it could be the speed sensors at the wheels - or possibly the plug near the frame rail... next time the car is on a rack I'll check it out.
-------------------------------
As for the other ideas -

I don't know why it would show up as an ABS code if it had anything to do with CC... I've had Osiris and 3.7FD for quite a while and this code didn't show until recently... a few things have been done recently that may have contributed to this code - which is why I'm inclined to think it has to do with the speed sensor wire/cable...

Thanks for the responses... I know it's not a common code... Riverside Infiniti didn't even see it in there troubleshooting list... I guess if I ever figure it out I'll post here in case anyone has it in the future.

Any update on this? I scanned my car the other day and this seemed to be the only code that popped up.
