Tein H tech vs. Tein S tech

I was wondering if anyone here has either of these springs and is willing to give me some feedback. How much lower were the cars after the springs have settled? i know the h tech is supposed to be better quality and have a slightly smaller drop, but i was wondering how good the s tech springs were considering that they are only a few dollars cheaper and offer a drop twice as low as the others. Feel free to make suggestions on what you guys think are better springs, i just need to get a lof oinfo before i spend the money.

I have the H tech and I love them.. It all comes down to what you want. I wanted to keep as much of the stock ride and just get a slight drop. The H techs did everything that I wanted. Many guys here have the S techs and they could tell you all about them. From what Ive heard, they are both great springs, its all about how much drop you want, and what kind of ride you want

What spring to get depends on what you want out of your lowered car and to some extent what amount of drop you wish to have or are willing to have.

Do you have a coupe or sedan?

Re: Tein H tech vs. Tein S tech

I got a 2004 coupe, I agree with what you guys are saying, i was really leaning towards the h techs because of the small drop, i really dont want to start scraping my new car on every speed bump i pass at work (there are a lot of really really big ones). Thanks a lot for the input, it helped a lot

The S-techs drop the car a bit more than the H-techs, but they're also a slightly stiffer spring, so that'll help keep the car from bottoming out a little bit too... just something to consider...

Re: Tein H tech vs. Tein S tech

Tein H-tech 350z (fronts are progressive, rears are linear)
358/375 F+14% R+11%
Transfers +3% roll stiffness to front

Tein S-tech G35 coupe & sedan (fronts are progressive, rears are linear)
358/274 R+14% R-18%
Transfers +32% roll stiffness to front

The difference between the two springs besides ride height is that the Z H-tech does not have weaker then oem rear spring rates and does not transfer a ton of roll stiffness to the front. Meaning they do not add understeer to a car that has too much of that to begin with and that the car will handle better.

Are there any camber issues with the H techs?

I've had no camber issues whatsoever w/ the Htechs. However, you will need to have the allignment done after installing the springs to get everything back to spec.

Re: Tein H tech vs. Tein S tech

think you could do a comparison between the z s-techs and the g s-techs?

im pretty sure im goin to go with the z s-techs cause they are a lot stiffer and that is where i think the car is lacking. also they dont lower the car as much as the g s-techs. thanks man.
