AC only works on 60!?! WTF

So my car has been in and out of shops over the last 6 months (pulley upgrades, retunes, etc) for various issues. Nothing major. I dont daily driver, usually drive at night in the summer, so I dont really use my ac.

The light comes one, the AC blows COLD, the HEAT blows HOT....

however

there is no adjusting what so ever!

If its on 60, its iceberg cold so the ac and compressor works right. If I dial it to 61 the fregging thing shifts (you can hear it) and it blows hot.

Thus far I have just been using fan speed to monitor, but daum...really? I did replace an AC line over the summer but that appears to be OK, if it were a leak the AC would run out and not work.

URGH

whats wrong with G ZILLA?

lol

thanks in advance

Pull the lower dash under the steering wheel. Pretty much guarantee the sensor for cabin temp is unplugged. Will be on the right side by the console

Happened to me as well. Easy fix. Takes like 1-2 mins.

My guess is you have an 03-04 and it's probably the control board for the head unit. A common problem on those years and known to go bad causing the exact same problem you describe.
