G35 sedan w/ too much money in mods

Hey, Yaaaa'llllll,
This thread is old as ****, but I didn't wanna muck up the forum with yet another plenum spacer thread, so I'm hijacking this beeotch to complain.
I just installed the ISO thermal plenum spacer after owning my car for the last 3 years. I was gonna do it awhile back, but then I got into a suspension rebuild and the spacer took a backseat. Suspension is 95% done and I was really craving some power mods, so I finally picked up the spacer.
So, I installed it this morning and I gotta say, not that impressed. The exhaust sounds dope now, but power is nothing like I hoped. Maybe I read too much hype first. However, I got a CEL cuz I cleaned the throttle body with the motor running and no airbox connected. Reset the computer and CEL is gone.
Question: I know the computer has to relearn for like 100 miles or whatever, so could that be why I don't really feel the heat in my pants?

Not everyone gets a CEL tho, but I ran it with no MAF so I had to reset.

Alright, been driving it all day. At about the 70 mi mark so just checking in.
The exhaust note, again, is just sex. It sounds really exotic now (magnaflow muffler, resonator delete, k&n panel filter, z-tube and now spacer). It sounded good before, but now it really just sounds mature. Like a maserati or something. Cabin noise used to be louder. Now sounds stock (ok, a little louder than stock) unless I'm bogging gears (like under 2000rpms going up hill still has a drone). Otherwise, I love it.
Motor seems smoother overall which is really saying something cuz it was really smooth before. I want to attribute this to the extra air volume in the manifold which keeps it from having to fight for air, but it could be the ecu reset. We'll see if it goes away at the 100mi mark.
Power, after driving it all day and getting to know it a little better on freeways and streets is noticeably better especially in lower RPMs and when shifting. I thought it was gonna be more in the upper RPMs. For instance, lazy passing in 6th gear seems to yield much better performance. Going from 80 to 90 in 6th seems to take less time. Because there's more power in that midrange shifts feel better too. Feels like more power when going to the next gear. Still hoping for something special to happen at that 100mi mark tho. I'll check back tomorrow.

Alright, so I parked my car when I got to work and it had just hit 101 miles since the reset. I gotta admit being very skeptical about this 100 mile BS.
I am however now eating my words. Wow. This thing does actually give you a little kick in the pants. Got in my car after work, let it warm up, then spanked the street on the way out of the parking lot. I dunno what that 100 mile thing does to it, but there's definitely something to it. I'm happy with the spacer now for sure.
