My engine dies after start up

I have an 03 coupe with 80,000. Lately I've been noticing that after starting up the car, it quickly cuts off. This happens sporadically but this afternoon it happened twice on the same start up. I'm concerned it's now getting worse. The battery is fine. Could it be a problem with not enough fuel getting pumped in upon ignition?

Not likely fuel pump.

could be a dirty TB, a vacuum leak or possibly a cam position sensor

not 100% sure but...

one of my friends had a similar problem...i think it was a dirty throttle body (the metal piece between the z-tube and top plenum) or a dirty air sensor in the air filter.

if you have 80K you want to clean both those parts anyways.
give that a shot

I've cleaned both in the past but it's been a while. Maybe it's time to do it again.
