AC Clutch Problem / Loose Belt

So the in the last two days I've noticed that I have a loud roar from a slipping belt when i first start the car and notice that i get the sound every once in awhile when i disengage my clutch.

After looking at the issue, my cousin and I determined that the AC Clutch needs to be tighten down, so i grab a 10mm and try to tighen it, it turns but never wants to tighten itself.

My question to you all is,

Could my AC Clutch be going bad or do I just need to find a way to tighten the bolt. You think i just need to retap the thread to the AC Clutch?

Anyone else experience this? I've searched and some old thread came up but no resolution.

Here is a link to the to the AC Clutch, item 10

I have no idea why you think you need to tighten the ac clutch???? You should just tighten the tensioner pulley for that belt.

Yea after looking at a diagram i now see that the pulley.

Looks like i will have to remove the underbody covering to get to it though.

Yeah you will, and then loosen the bolt holding the pulley on and then just turn the screw to tighten it.. Once you understand what to do, its a really nice design and very easy to tweak.

Something else to keep in mind when adjusting the AC belt tensioner is that the "ears" on the tensioner bracket can get tweaked from overtightening/overuse and then you lose some of the adjustment travel. Happened to mine and I couldn't get the belt tight enough. My dealer said it's common and he won't even sell the pulley by itself because of that...only sells the whole bracket/pulley assembly.

+1 to what everyone else has said. There is no reason to do any more than tighten the belt.
