I thought that statement was odd too. Neither the AT or manuals had external oil coolers.

You can upload files if it's small enough. Just have to scroll down to the manage attachment options
you just posted the same pdf I did...

No idea? I'm not too technical with actual parts. I can only do basic things like oil changes and spark plugs.

Car is completely stock. I'll get under it again Wednesday when I have some free time with some pictures and report back to you guys. Thanks

if its stock, you have no catch can... I only mention it because depending on what can, they can seep from bottom and create a mess that is initially decieving as to source...

Assuming I know who this is, I just want to say thanks for all the vids.

Pretty much all the maintenance I've done is due to your help!

I'll get back to everyone once I narrow things down so I don't keep everyone guessing.

power steering/engine oil/transmission fluid

each could potentially leak in the engine bay. Color and smell are very important.

No burning oil smell.

When I start the car though, it smells like oil but goes away.

UPDATE: So the problem looks to be the oil pan gasket.

I took a quick look online, does the gasket come in two pieces? Thanks

Sorry, don't know but I'm curious. Mine looks like it has RTV or something similar. Stock pan, never been messed with. I'll look at the FSM to see if it specifies what is on there.

Looks like no oil pan gasket, just RTV on lower part of pan. Upper part has crank seals also. I figured you were talking about the lower "pan" though.

Yeah, it seems the RTV is a liquid gasket, so I'll have to give that a try.

The seals on the upper part - would that affect me?
