Raising Idle
OK, have the UTEC on the car and read that if I get the idle bumped at the dealer the UTEC will just correct it back down. How long does it take to correct it? Am I looking at any other complications with this?
I have this effing random no start that I CANNOT figure out. It's been going on for about 3 years. Tried everything. Countless times at the dealer and it never does it (go figure), so I'm gonna see if getting the idle bumped to 700-1000 will do anything -- if the dealer can adjust it that high.

Well, the RPMs jump up, hang around 500 for a second, then dies and won't start again for like 10min (best case) to 45min (worse case). So I'm thinking with the raised idle maybe it'll "catch". If you tap the gas it'll catch and stay running. Sometimes I'm too slow, or take my chances and don't do this.
"Why not just keep hitting the gas then?" ... it sounds like I'm trying to show off and be ricer (sometimes my touch isn't so light and it jumps to 3-4000RPM, supercharger screaming) and that my car is a POS. I just wanna hit the key and go.
I'm all out of ideas... if this won't hurt or interfere with anything, I'll give it a shot.
