Yesterday I installed osiris and started playing with it. I uploaded a map that the previous owner had and it worked fine except that at WOT the transmission would go nuts ( it would rev limit at 4K sometimes and the car would hunt for gears all the time ). So today I try it again to see if I can fix it and when I was uploading, osiris simply stopped working. It just stayed there as if the upload was complete but it never said it was complete. After leaving it alone for about 10 minutes I decided there was nothing I could do so I just shut everything off.

To my surprise, I can't get the ECU to respond anymore. I even unplugged the battery for 15 minutes and it still turns the fans on and Osiris can't detect it.

Now I'm left without a car till I can find a solution for this. I can drive my wife around and use her car but it's a pain, especially for something this stupid.

Anyways, anyone have any ideas on what I can do? Is uprev the only people that can reset my ecu or can my local dealer do it as well?

 

Why don't you try and call uprev? They would be the most help

 

You might have to have the ecu sent to UpRev to have them upload the original oem tune + whatever you have.

But yeah, a call to them would be #1

 

Look through the instruction manual, and there is a procedure for recovering an ECU without having to send it to UpRev.

 

I already contacted Uprev about it and I ended up having to send the ECU to them to have it fixed, not even the recover procedure osiris has would fix it. Guess I have to wait now.

I thought the same thing...he even asked for my cable to ensure everything is good. Jared at Uprev has been very helpful.

 

Damn GT sorry to hear the bad news bro...SMH hope everything works out for you. Let me know how that system works because I'm thinking about buying myself!

 

It's working fine now...Uprev fixed my ecu and sent it back to me. Weee...now I have to learn how to use their software to it's fullest.
