Im going for the same set up but with a motordyne exhaust. I have bc stage 2 cams springs and titanium retainers. Everyone agrees that ill need the tune to make it work. But so far i havent seen any feedback on people with this set up. Havent really looked that hard to be honest.

the lower power band, your losses? cams shift your power to the top end. the more you gain up top the more you lose down low. that's why mild cams are best for street cars.

very few people have done cams for NA. To really make it worth the cost you need to be able to extend your rev limit...better springs, better oil pump and you can easily push to 7200, maybe even to 7500. I would want to have stronger rods if I was gonna push past 7500 though.
