Stillen SC Warranty "available"
Re: Stillen SC Warranty "available"
Brian I have never heard of your issue before. Are you sure you put them in correctly? The sway bar is a static piece of equipment, it never moves... how could it snag the brake line all of a sudden?

Neither have I. I had one on my 98 Maxima, and 20k of miles later, no problems with it. I can't remember exactly, but I believe the brake line was suppose to be fed through something to keep it out of the way. My sway-bar was pushed forward a little for a little more tight rear end as well.

Old pics from the install. I just don't see how it gets snagged.

Re: Stillen SC Warranty "available"
G35_TX,
It looks like Stillen could have walked Brian verbally through the install to make sure he didn't have any problems, but instead (according to him) they made fun of him. I saw your photos and it looks like, if the job was done right, there should be no problems, but good customer service should have tried to help out one of their customers instead of blowing him off.
Again, I have never dealt with Stillen, nor am I directly attacking their products. I'm just reporting that I've read more than an average number of complaints about them on my350z.com in the last year, enough to make me definitely consider other aftermarket suppliers. If you've been dealing with them for 10 years and had no problems, GREAT. I'm just saying there are enough people who have not had your good fortune and this might be something people would want to consider before they drop ~$8000 on a S/C and then a couple hundred more for a warranty... that's all.

Re: Stillen SC Warranty "available"
Well, considering the way his post was, it doesn't sound like he was calling to get help. Sounds like he was calling to tell them the RSB was junk and it had problems. And that would make ANYONE laugh. Because most of the time, its the user installing it, not the product. Truthfully in all the years that RSB has been out, this is the first time I have heard about it.
Just my 02 cents.
