Cooling questions need some help plz!!
OKay guys here is my situation. A couple weeks ago my 06 g35 coupe took a **** and the cooling sensor broke and overheated my car (While Parked). well i got the sensor fixed and it was working fine while doing speed limits. Well, since i have a g35 i hit the highway getting on it a little hard and the Temp Gauges Acted like my Speedometer Get the point? well im thinking to fix this problem im going to replace the radiator with a PWR radiator and a Nismo Thermostat. Can any of you guys think what else could be the problem.

Before you replace the rad. etc. Try a coolant flush, and water wetter.. Unhook your rad completely and flush some 50/50 coolant fluids through that to make sure your free flowing with no clogs, as well. I know your not supposed to run tap water (distilled only) due to the irons and electrolysis that can occur from the crap in tap water.. I have my car on the poland spring/water wetter/15% coolant diet for the summer months here in PA, and it helps my temp by about 25 degrees alone..
Also, while refilling your system, make sure you burp the air out correctly, you need to remove the bleeder cap, on the hose running into the heater box which is located near the batt. running into the firewall.. heres a good DIY I saw in another thread.

Any time you open the system where air can be introduced into the lines you can have an air bubble get into the system.
Design of the engine and channeling of coolant is extensive and air can cause cavitation at the water pump or hot spots in parts of the engine.
Removing air is difficult because of the design. Easiest way to burp the system is to buy a funnel that locks onto the radiator fill and run the vehicle for 10 min.

burping the system.
i studied the footage from the link and wasn't sure if that was burping the system.
after the person completed changing the coolant fluid and the washer and cap, I didn't see him turn the car on at all.
what is this running the car for 10 mins with the radiator cap off? I wasn't sure.
Thanks
