i am wanting to do the big 3 and upgrade my battery to alternator wire and am having a little trouble finding the bolt where the wire from the battery attaches to the bolt on the alternator. has anyone upgraded the wire that can chime in? i am upgrading it with 1/0 ga and need to know how many feet of wire i would need.

The positive cable goes from the battery to the back of the alternator then down to the starter. Its all one cable.

the guy at the car audio shop was telling me nissans dont have the bolt on the alternator, that they had a plug or harness instead. is this true? so would the wire not be upgradable?

Of course theres a power wire bolted to the alternator. As said above, its all 1 wire from the battery to the alt to the starter.

So unless you plan on running separate wires to both the alt and the starter, its not upgradeable.
