Question Cooling fans problem

Hey guys I have an 05 6mt and my cooling fans are acting weird. My car is overheating at idle, but it doesnt do it all the time. I noticed that when it starts overheating one of the two fans is off. Sometimes is the driver side one and other times is the passenger side, or sometimes they both work at a very low speed, less than the low speed setting that they are supposed to operate.
Does anybody knows if the fans are damage do they work intermittently or act weird like this?
As far as I know both fan work together and they have two speeds. They are controlled by the 3 relays in the ipdm which seem fine.
I got the extended warranty letter from infiniti, but if is not the fans they will charge me $140 for diagnostics. Hopefully is not the ipdm which cost $430

There should only be two speeds, and both fans should always operate together.

If only one is working it is probably covered under the TSB. If both of them are running really slowly, IDK.
