ive had my 05x in over a foot of snow last winter without problems at all in snow mode..even with snow mode off i was able to go more then half throttle from a stop and the car would just pull without hesitation..i felt very safe..i found the car was better with the snow mode on and vdc off..

I dont have any complaints about my X, its a perfect all season car. BTW I never use the snow mode.
