Hi guys, I have a 2003 G35 coupe with roughly 82000 miles on it. Last night I was driving along and all of a sudden my power steering went out. My service engine light, vdc off, and slip icons lit up in the dash. I stopped in a parking lot and killed the engine. I went to crank the car, and it stuttered a little bit before actually cranking. I figured that it might be low fluid, but I thought I'd ask you guys what you think. Thanks in advance.

get the codes scanned. if the fluid is low, check for any leaks. my guess is maybe the p/s pressure switch went bad.....if so, there should be a code for it.

If it is the P/S pressure switch, it's P0550 and a generic scanner won't pull it up and it also won't set the SES. Mine had been unhooked on me and the light never came on, on realized 'cause it was harder turning at idle. Cipher came up with the code.
