Oil Filters

Does anyone know what oil filter the infiniti dealerships use? The 65F00 or the 9E000? What other filters do you guys recommend? I'm thinking of trying the Mobil1 M1-108 or 110...

Nissan 15208-65F00

K&N HP-1008 or 1010

Mobile M1-110 or 108

AC PF 1237 or 2057

Purolator L14610

STP S6607

Bosch 3323

Hope that helps.

gordgee

For the K&N, the HP-1006 is a lightly bigger than the HP-1010, has the same pressure specs, and fits fine.

Re: Oil Filters

Do any or all of those have a bypass?

Re: Oil Filters

Anyone has info on which of these are the better ones vs ones to avoid.
I am sure Mobil 1 or K&N filter will be up there but any others?
I have been using the Purolator for last couple of oil changes.

Re: Oil Filters

I've been using the Pure One also.

But I noticed it doesn't have a bypass.

Do we need one??

Re: Oil Filters

I have been using the Mobil M-108. I never used the 110 because it has a larger capacity than the 108 which is the listed replacement filter for our car.

What do you mean by bypass?

Re: Oil Filters

It's incase the filter gets clogged so that it can still get through. It has ups and downs. Pro your car doesn't lose lubrication. Con it doesnt filter filings out or any other debris in the oil.
