So much misconception

Never get a Forced using solvents flush.

A Normal flush at the dealer is just an exchange of fluid. The Service Manual specifies the proper way to do a "Flush" just dealers use machines to do it faster.

If the trans fluid in you AT hasn't been changed with your mileage I'm not sure it's safe to do so! I wouldn't do a flush, they're over rated just have the fluid changed. How about the differential/radiator and brake fluid, has that ever been changed?

I just had my transmission flushed with 43K miles on the car. The car shifts noticeably smoother now.
