i just got this 4dr g35.. 03.. the service engine like came on.. and when i drive, it doenst pas around 40 mph...and it just revs up and no speed.... wtf... the person i got it from told me the code was p1718 but i have no idea whats that is....i just did an oil change right now... some one please explain this to me ..... first g35 ever owned...

 

You changed the engine oil or tranny fluid? Code means your Transmission is too hot, sounds like you may need a new one. Hope you got a really good deal.

 

P1780 would be better, you should go to the auto parts store and see what it is.
