The price you saved will only buy you a new Supercharger with out tune, build engine and all of that. Be prepared to drop 15k to build the engine and turbo all tuned.

I've read someone with a n/a build and they only got a bit past 300 to the wheels but they didn't post the price. Too lazy to find the thread lol :/

It's simply too expensive to go full n/a, and you won't get much power out of it. Bolt-ons alone will be around 4k, and you'll only be around 260 whp.

Get a vortech v3 tuner kit, injectors, fuel pump, plugs, 3.12 pulley, and a nice conservative tune with Osiris. You'll be around a safe 350 whp for under 6k, if you do the install yourself.

labor is not that expensive for a supercharger kit... its very simple in comparison to a turbo kit.

if you build the motor and have solid bolt ons you can get up to 320-330 whp with a 8200 rev limit. Make the car a different animal. You'd probably pay $6500 just for the engine build though - not including bolt-ons you'd need to support it.
