03 coupe upgrades

Just bought a 03 coupe and was looking to put in about 2-4 grand into it except i don't know what to put in. I was leaning towards a hks exhaust and cold air intake but wasn't sure if there was something better out there. Any thoughts?

Depends on what you are trying to achieve.... looks, power but a few nice sleek upgrades would be simple things such as 06 projector headlights and tail lights, intake, exhaust, maybe even a nice suspension setup...but again it's all about the direction you want to take your car in. BTW welcome to Driver!

I was going to spend 1g on tinting and painting the stock rims black, but the rest of the money I wanted to to use to improve the overall car. Is adding a new pulley a good idea? I just want to get the most for my money. Thanks for the welcome.

I have and most people add a Plenum spacer to add a little power and sound. Coils wud be nice but if u tinker with suspension. Upload most likely have to get camber kits and toe bolts and stuff if u got anything lower than a 1.5 in drop

Most power mods for NA cars give minimal gains. get a set of hi-flow cats and your exhaust will sound like it is aftermarket. your best money would be spent on new wheels rather than painting the stock ones, coilovers or lowering springs would be the other spot to spend. Get a nice set of used wheels for a couple grand in the market place and buy some coilovers those will be the mods that have the most impact on your car.
