Need help asap :(

Ok today my CEL came on. Took it to autozone to get it Read. Turned out to be Code PO442 (smal EVAP leak). Guy at auto zone said it was more n likely the gas cap and said to clean it off because might be dirty so I cleaned it up tighten it 3 clicks. I reset my ECU using the pedal method. Turn the G on and then CEL is Blinks for a bit then goes away and comes back blinking WTF NOw!!!! I said to my self. Any suggestions cause I'm freak out Now Is this a serious prob????? Oh yea the G idles fine if that matters

Its not a serious problem at all.Its probably a small leak in one of the evap lines and you need to take it to a shop who has a smoke machine to find the leak.

Unless youre coming up on emissions inspection I wouldnt worry too much about it, but make sure you do fix it before emissions time.

Here's an Infiniti Service bulletin on the EVAP leak.
Shouldn't be a big deal to fix, and it is usually the gas cap. Make sure the rubber seal in the cap is clean and pliable using something like WD-40 on a rag. You can also check on the other fittings yourself but would need a smoke detector if nothing looks corroded or out of place.

Our environment will thank you.
