Hey all,

I was installing my exhaust last night and had just the y pipe to put on this morning when I finished. Car ran fine last night and this morning it's COMPLETELY dead. No lights, the key isn't recognized, no sounds, no nothing. It's as if the car doesn't have a battery hooked up. My battery is only 6 months old and I'm trying to get a jump to see if that helps.

If it doesn't does anyone have any ideas on what is wrong? I'm at a loss for an explanation, the only thing I touched on the car last night was the exhaust.

Turned out to be the battery WTF.

 

^ Happens, sometimes they sit on the shelf, but you should have some free replacement for 12 months or some deal like that.

What type of battery is it?

 

Duralast Gold I think. It jumped and then tested fine so who knows what the issue was.

 

Make sure the battery cables are completely tight if they are not it can cause that kind of problem.

You have a volt meter Blue? Should try to measure the battery voltage car off and then car on. It should be reading close to 13 V+. That means your alternator is okay

 

I don't have one but should probably go get one.
