wow, just spent 4 hours tryin to install headlights and got NO where

I got the fender wall bent down, got access to the light, theres a little metal clip thing that i cant fingure out how to get away from the headlight assembly and my bulb will not fit in there for anything...!!!!! i thought this was going to be a 1,2,3 thing, getting to it, i thought was the hardest part... HA i am so angered now... its dark my headlamp is all dissasembled and i have no transportation for the night becuase i dont want to drive it with my stuff all disconected!!! if anyone is in suffolk county with knowledge of changing these bulbs and wants to do it ill pay you like $50 to do so.... i am sick of headaches with this damn car, everything is so confusing.... anyone with pics on how to do it, let me see them please!!! i did like 40 different searches and there is ZERO threads on how to actualy get the bulb into place, theres all talk on how to get to them which for me was the easiest part.... i tried getting those clips off the light but they seem attached, please help!! thanks so much

Bear with me here. I saw the guy at the body shop remove a bulb from my busted head light just 2 days ago. It seems as if he squeezed two metal prongs toward each other and then rotated the metal clip (prongs included) AWAY from the light (toward the rear bumper) he then squeezed two other things together and pulled the bulb out. It took him about 5 seconds and he said he had never done this before on a G35.

Hope that helps... and no, I'm not sure if this is right, but it is the best you're gonna get from me and I'm the only one who's responded as of yet.

Use your thumb and index finger...push each side of the clip forward (towards front of car), squeeze together, pull back.
