HELPP please! quick stutter, service engine light , then gone

hello guys hopefully someone can help me with this, on my way to school today, i was doing about 70 on the high way, then i just completly let go of the gas pedal and about 10 seconds of having let off the pedal the car just kind of jerked and then the service engine light came on and off within 2 seconds. also after that when im coming to a stop, lets say im in triptronic, and im downshifting, when it shifts and the rpms are getting lower @ about 1300-1400 rpms the car will bump the rpms to like 1700 rpms then back down to 1300 and it will get lower as u press the break. any ideas on this, help will be greatly appreciated.

You should check the fault codes. If the SES light came on even temporarily it should have stored the reason.

It may not be a serious concern - After you read the code maybe just reset.

Also, it couldn't hurt to reset the idle air learn procedure
