Not true. The point of this forum is to educate people, members or non members. You gave out false information about the topic the op asked about. 10w gives no more protection than 5w at startup, running, racing. NEVER! I do know what viscosity is, and what it does.This is why I know 10w30 is worse than 5w 30 for the VQ35DE and HR motors in any climate.

So was mine, I have been changing oil in my cars since you were still shitting yellow. 42 years of driving and servicing my own cars says a lot to me.
