Clutch Chatter...

When my car is in idle I hear a loud chatter from underneath the chassis. When I hold the clutch pedal in the chatter goes away. I really cannot tell if the clutch is aftermarket or if the throwout bearing is slowly on its way out. The clutch feels as if it grabs ok, no slipping, no odors, no heavy grinding during shifts.

Should I be cool?

Sounds like you may have an aftermarket "lightened" flywheel. The OEM "dual mass" flywheel (much heavier) does not do that.

^ Do you have an aftermarket flywheel also? Because mine does the same and was wondering if mine could also be. I was told everything was stock on the car and it looked stock also when i got it.

The OEM flywheel is designed to suppress the chatter. Almost all aftermarket FW will chatter.

Is there an easy way to find out if I looked under the car? Probably not right?

Just picked up my car a month ago.
