I've had my g35 for a year now and put approx 14k miles on it. I'm not totally sure about the upkeep of the car before I bought. I have a few questions. 1.) Is it normal for the transmission to shift slightly rough between gears 2 and 3? 2.)If not do I need to go ahead and have the trans fluid and differential fluids changed. 3.) Should I get the 7,500 mile service or go ahead and get the 30,000 miles service? 4.) The Infiniti dealer in Montgomery, Al quoted me $180 for the 7,500k service and $600 for the 30k service. Are those prices about the average nationally?

 

If I were you, I would have ALL of the fluids flushed since you are coming up on the 90K mark. Change out your in cabin micro-filter, spark plugs, and belts. Also have your fuel injectors and your throttle body cleaned as well. And change out your air filter, check for any leaks on such things as your head gasket and valve gaskets, etc. And if you want a dealership to do it, take it to a Nissan dealer they will do the same work for less.
