For $1000 you can get the crank pulley, plenum, z-tube, k&n drop-in, and y-pipe
The crank pulley is worth about 5-7 rwhp.

Nitrous---$1000 installed gets you 75-125 hp (and a new motor if installed incorrectly)

Agreed. Or if wear items are included I would say tires. Good sticky tires are often overlooked and are just as, if not more, important as a good suspension setup.

Tires, he's got a point.

But is it worth it for the amount of money you put into it?
You're still talking marginal gains.
It's funny no how much you have you still want a little bit more.

Save your money dude.
A family friend makes a 850 HP N/A engines for nascar, a truck series, the le mans Saleen S7 and some cig boats. He still doesn't do anything to his car, leaves it stock. After hearing what he says, most I would do is z-tube intake and possibly exhaust.
