Actually an Osiris tune averages around 1/2 of what you quoted completed by a expert tuner! I would never plug anything into my ECU regardless of manufactures claims without an ok from my tuner.... (what are the odds?) Gary

Actually an Osiris n/a tune averages 600-700 including license. F/I tunes are well over 1k.

The uprev licence is usually $350 or more and Dyno time is typically $150/Hour + set up fees. Other parts of north america may be different but anyone in my area has spent about $550 before the tuner even plugs his lap top in, I have never heard of an Osiris licensed and fully dyno tuned car for $500. I don't consider a tune that you get emailed to you a real tune either

This chip just fools the ITS "intake temperature sensor" into thinking that the air going Into the manifold is cooler than it is. This makes the ecu richin the air to fuel ratio. But it makes your engine run hot BAD IDEA!

Is that sarcasm? You can do the same as this $69.99 "chip" with a 20¢ resistor from Radio Shack.

That is a 14 leg IC chip which is supposed to "change" your fuel injector outputs to optimize.. blah... blah ... blah. They have been around for years and in older ones that have a sealed box "made to look kinda like a piggy back ecu" normally turned out to be a resistor inline with something in ur ecu. I spent a year in a 2m lab working on components. Most likly thats a IC chip that mimics a resistor made in china and cost 3 cents plus ink to print on top of it. If you must waste your money on something send it to me since iam saving for my twin build.

My tune at Uprev here in Austin was $325 for the license and $250 for 2 hours of dyno time to tune it to my car. $575 out the door at their world headquarters.........
