How to install homelink mirror????

Guys, I just bought a homelink mirror off of a g35 owner and will be installing it in my car this week. I was hoping someone on the board has done this and can give me some pointers as well as some visuals if at all possible. Thanks again.

I'm guessing that it probably sticks to the window and gets power and ground from the map lights.

You are correct, but my trouble is how to tap into the map light. There is a cut out in the roofline for it to go, but it is so small that i can't figure out how to get in there.

Ask your dealer to install it for you. Let us know what they want to do it for.

I don't know, my friend is pretty good with installing things, me and him might take a shot at it. Which is why I desperately need some sort of diagram to follow. If I do have the dealership do it, I will tell you how bad they are trying to rip me off. I have also considered letting my audio installers do it.
