the sensor which is in intake, it measures the amount of air going to engine - I guess Mass Air Flow Sensor?

Attempt the idle air relearn procedure again. If it doesn't take then your TB isn't good.
You know, I been researching about messing up this throttle body thingy, and I got to say, most of us and including tech at Nissan and Infinity don't exactly know really why.
my 07-08 Infiniti is still in the shop, they changed out brand new throttle body (my car need 2). and my car still idle around 1000 RPM in "D" and between 1200-2000RPM in "N" or "P"
they said the throttle got messed up when it was clean, well i got 2 new one so why it's still happened. now they are thinking about changing out the ECU.
If you look at the pics of the Throttle body from OP, this dam thing is not that "high tech" , for the most parts its not much diff than the non electronic version.
For my problem, i think Nissan/Infiniti need to find better programmer for their ECU, because this ECU act like a Women, Its not just 'Yes" or "No" "0" or "1", most of the times it's "Maybe".
And why the "F" do you have to do so many "relearns" after a simple thing like unplug the battery.
Sorry for the rant, but i'm already down $2G and still have the same problem. I have been messing around with VW for over 10 yrs and never ran into this kind of problem for such a simple DYI task.

Find yourself a qualified Oriris tuner and have the car tuned. Might fix your problem and get you a few more HP.

Yeah, mine was fine after messing around with it, but since messing around with the exhaust, and then putting it back to stock, it's now 200rpm higher. 24 hr battery disconnects don't fix it, idel re-learn does, but only until you turn off the engine, then it's right back to 200rpm too high.

seriously there is nothing to be broken in TB. I guess You all have problems with tuning ECU (ECM). All problems with idle rpm are thanks to NOT using by Nissan/Infiniti step motor, insted they've used simple electric motor, and that is why it has to be interpreted by ECU.

I'd really like to know what the problem is with it as well. I could not get it to relearn with mine when it screwed up, with dealership it wouldn't relearn either.

I just replaced it when I swapped a good one in and worked fine, was an easier solution.

Also, if you have good tb and it won't hold the relearn procedure it could be due to the relearn not finishing to completion. Make sure the car idles for a few min after the reset just to make sure.

It says to let it idle for about 20 seconds or so once the idle has dropped to 650, which i'm sure i've done. I've also driven it around for 10 minutes and the idle stays ~650, but once it's turned off and on again

Oriris Yeah right . they told me to fixed my problem first before bringing it to them.

I had 3 diff. dealers doing this relearn BS thing and no one can get it to work. what pissed me off is that they all trying to do relearn for days despite the fact that i told them it will not work. and they need to think out side the box, after all im paying them over $100 an hour, they should be a lot more technical then us DYI'er

Agreed, I myself also dis-assemble the throttle body and i see nothing "advance" about it.
The master tech at the dealer insisted that i need to replace both of them. before they can move on to the next diag. Well no figgin kidding, the problem is either the throttle or the ECU, and as a master tech of infiniti/nissan he should be able or have the resources to tell which one.
And their ECU design/program is a joke.
