Getting NISMO Competition Heads

I'm about to purchase the NISMO Competition Heads cuz I'm tired of waiting for someone to find another solution to breaking 300whp mark N/A. Im getting it from z1auto.com but I dont know whethere to get the stage 1 or 2. Does ne1 know how big a power or drivability diff it would make? Well anyways, with that, Im hoping to get the titanium valves and the NISMO S1 Cams. I'd like to know if this is too aggressive a set up for the street/weekend autocross. Later on, if I'm not satisfied I'll have to work with the APS Plenum, Crawford Headers/Cats, etc(N/A Mods). Please help me with deciding what to put in.

You might have to get just about every n/a mods possible to break 300whp... THats alot of hp that your shooting for there on a n/a car. My guess would be that you'll definitely have to get the plenum , cats, and in addition you have to get the full cat back exhaust, intake, pully set, headers , ecu flash , and high compression pistons along with the heads, and s1 cams, to even have a shot a 300 whp... THats alot of money your going to spend buddy..

Yes. And to get that kind of peak HP, power will be a bit peaky and street driveability will not be too good. Better to aim a little lower and preserve some low end torque and smoother power delivery through the curve. If 1/4 mile times are what you are after, then a final drive ratio change wouldnt be such a bad thing either.

What kinda #'s are you putting down now? I've also thought about the Nismo Heads.
What's the differance between the Nismo & Stock heads besides a smaller chamber for higher compression?
I too am going the N.A. route, because a lot of my buddies are F.I., I just wanted to be a little different. Like the other guys here have said & you probably aleady know, it's a costly way to go with HP gains in small increments. Unlike the instant gradification of going F.I.
So one thing I can do they can't, is win N.A. Drag & Dyno events. My only competion is other G' & Z's. Thier competion is not only F.I. G's & Z's but 500-800whp Supras & RX-7's!!!
I just returned from dynoing today, to try out my new Water/Methanol injection. Turns out I was using to big of an injector(jet) so I lost power, it richened up the A/F. I'm going back in a week or so to try some smaller jets.
My best #"s were: 268.3whp / 251.6tq. 1/4mile:13.86@101.6 on street tires.
I've done about all the N.A. stuff (mods listed below)you can do through bolt ons except Headers. Maybe looking at Headers, Cams w/matching Head work next.
SteveAreno...thanks for the heads up on Jeff at Performance Nissan, I've give him a call!
