The only reason I didn't go with koyo is because they don't have an aluminum radiator with the connections for the 5AT. My car feels great so far, only thing I'm upset with the mishimoto radiator is that it was advertised as a simple swap. It wasn't hard just time consuming.

installed mishimoto radiator, fan shrouds, thermostatm, hoses and transmission cooler last year. no issues EXCEPT i had to leave bottom rubbing boots off like VatoVaz did. fits snug and been really happy with all of my mishimoto products.

heres a pic ill try to get more of it in a few..

I can't remember off hand. I have a post on here somewhere in the past when I got my radiator where I show which ones to buy. You should be able to search and find it

Dang MPG35fiend's radiator fit perfect. i read somewhere on here that there was a revision of the radiator so maybe i was just unlucky? Car feels great with the mishimoto radiator though, once i get those fittings on ill be happy.

yea i was skeptic on getting the Mishimoto Radiator, but after further research and speaking with mishimoto rep, i was assured i was getting the revised version. it does fit PERFECT, but if you see the top right right bumps stop is cracked... that happened bc i was trying to force the radiator in with the bottom rubber boots in... its not bad and i dont mind it. lesson learned.

plus mishimoto provided much more products that i wanted to install at the same time...

I just swapped mine also, first time. Not so bad, mine was off a little bit but its livable.

just installed the one sitting in my garage for a long time...lol

Now, mine is an early 2003 so it could be my car since they made diff stuff for early 03's, but I had to make a few adjustments. It was very tight but got it in. Mostly the screws for the condenser were tight. For my car they were roughly 1/8" to wide in each direction, or 1/4" in total. I did get them in though.

The new connections they have for the trans cooler lines appear to be -10AN fittings. My current external trans cooler does not accept AN fittings and has barbs, so I will need to find an adapter most likely in order to keep the current setup running in series.

Glad I got it in finally though!

Any markings on the mishimoto to know forsure it's the revised model? I need a new radiator for my 05 5AT coupe and from what I read the Koyo doesn't work with my car?

The Koyo radiator can work with you car but you will need to purchase a separate transmission cooler, as it does not come with the transmission line connections. Well at least for the All-Aluminum radiator.
As for the Mishimoto it will be clear as day when you see the wrong transmission connections. If you can somehow get a serial number, run it by the guys over at Mishimoto and they will let you know if it is revised or not.

Where'd you guys get the best pricing on a revised Mishimoto radiator for an 05 5AT coupe?

If you want a guaranteed revised radiator i would get it from Mishimoto directly. Your going to pay more but its going to fit the first time and fit nicely like the guys above. You can look around, i know Z1 motorsports and evasive motorsports have them for a lower price. i would just contact whatever seller you decide to go with and make sure it is revised.

I have the Koyo racing radiator with Upgraded dual fans, it certainly is a tight fit,but i love it. They utilize all the oem fittings so you dont need any adapters or new drill holes or move anything remotely to another location.

Hope this helps everyone to decide.
