Might be coming back to the G for some FI!

Hey guys, I haven't been around lately because I bought a supercharged Honda S2000 back in September. With the S2000, it would cost ALOT of money to ditch the supercharger and go for a turbo. I love the S2000 and all, but I am kind of itching for a back seat, more power, and a real interior. Along with some suspension upgrades, wheels, and brakes, I want to go FI. I decided that I want to go the turbo route. Can anyone provide me links to vendors that sell the JWT Turbo? Also, what do you guys think is the best kit is right now? How much power can be had "out of the box" considering that it was tuned properly? I know that building up the block is always a good idea, but how big of an issue is it...how much can the stock block handle? I also plan on upgrading the tranny...would I only need to replace the clutch and flywheel? Any input would really be appreciated! It's good to be back!

-Matt

A supercharged S2K is nothing to laugh at, especially at the track. It handles quite nicely from the factory, has a high strung engine, and weighs significantly less (*read ~500 lbs. less than a G35 coupe) . The one knock against the S2K is the lack of low and mid end torque and the need to wring the engine out and keep it above 5K rpms. But with the supercharger, the lack of torque is negated by a nice amount. The high strung engine of the S2K is at home on a track and the supercharger just makes it that much faster.

Don't ditch the supercharger, just add the turbo!
