Best life long option?!

I bought my g35 6MT coupe about a month and a half ago. I look foward to keeping this car for a long time. I was wondering if anyone out there has ideas to preserve the life of my car so I can put 150,000 miles on it with little or no problems? Currently I'm putting in Quaker State Synthetic Oil. Should I get a grounding kit and/or a bypass filter for the oil? And is it possible for me to put the bypass filter on? If there are other mods or tricks that can help preserve the life of my car please, let me know. Didn't treat my Altima in any special way and still got 170K, and it still ran great when I sold it.

Just follow the scheduled maintenance and you should be fine, even without any synthetic fluids.

I have agree with Chinee, the synthetics give you better protection than conventional oils, but you can do fine without. Most of us that use and swear by synthetics are extremists and want only the best. Heck I even use synthetic oil in my lawn equipment.

That is actually Gateway takeing a picture of his neighbors G and passing it off as his own. He went to his neighbors house to borrow some sugar, went inside, and took a shot from the window of the front of the car.

Re: Best life long option?!

I don't have a digital camera, only a camcorder.....With a dead battery.....The cable reached as far as it could.

I then did a screen capture.

I will make a better picture once I locate an extension cord....

That beautiful shot is through a small window in the front door.

Re: Best life long option?!

Just to make sure I charged the batteries up in the ole camcorder.....You should be able to put this link into your browser, and if you have real player, it should play. If it doesn't then you can put the same address directly into your real player and it should also work.
