I've been told if you install the crawford V5 plenum or any type of plenum spacer, you can no longer have your engine cover on. Is this correct?

I think that is true for the Crawford, but the spacers come in different sizes and some will fit the stock engine cover (and even strut bar on the Z). Dig around in some of the plenum spacer threads for more info...
