Codes p0303 and p0340

I was driving last night, car went into limp mode, SES, VDC off and SLIP light all came on and stayed on, car had trouble starting, pulled 2 codes, p0303 and p0340. Would p0340 (camshaft position sensor) be causing p0303 (cylinder 3 misfire)? If i replace the camshaft sensor, should that also fix the other code?

i would think you would see a random misfire(p0300) across the whole bank if the p0340 was causing the misfire instead of it being singled out to one cylinder.

the p0340 put the ecu into limp mode so i would start on that switch. you can also switch the coil with one in next cylinder over, clear codes, then see if it comes back on the cylinder you switched it to and bam you know if its the coil causing that misfire then (which is most likely the case)
